GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP PUBLIC SCHOOLS JOB DESCRIPTION

TITLE:             
CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CNA)

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Be a high school graduate.
2. Possess a valid NJ Certified Nurse Assistant license.

REPORTS TO:          
Director of Special Services

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Function as a 1:1 aide for students with significant multiple disabilities and/or those students who are wheelchair dependent.
• Provide additional services as needed for identified students requiring high levels of support for toileting and personal self-care.
• Provide additional services as needed for students requiring lifting/transfer for toileting and transitions during the school day.

COMPENSATION:    
To be determined by the Board of Education. 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:      
10 Months

VACATION:   
There is no vacation time allotted to this position.

EVALUATION:       

To be evaluated semi-annually in accordance with the Board’s policy on evaluation of personnel.
